I lead the Banking, FinTech & Blockchain practice of PwC Legal Switzerland.

I am a highly dedicated Swiss and internationally trained Attorney-at-law and certified Swiss Fund & Asset Management Officer. Before joining PwC, I practiced for more than 10 years as a banking and financial markets specialist with major leading Swiss law firms. Prior to this, I worked for a financial institution in Hong Kong and acted as research and teaching assistant at the Chair of Civil and Commercial Law at the University of Freiburg i.Ue. (Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Peter Gauch und Prof. Dr. Hubert Stöckli). I further was a visiting researcher at the Max-Planck-Institute for Comparative and International Private law in Hamburg.

My practice specializes in banking, insurance, financing, capital markets, mergers & acquisitions, general corporate and commercial matters as well as internal investigations. I have an extensive track record of advising leading Swiss and foreign financial institutions and am excellently acquainted with the Swiss banking industry. I represent clients in proceedings before the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA, support financial institutions in complying with their diverse regulatory duties and advise on the structuring, issuance, listing and marketing of diverse financial products, including the development of products and services in the FinTech space. Furthermore, I regularly act as lead lawyer for a wide range of financial industry related contracts and transactions, including initial coin offerings (ICOs) and security token offerings (STOs).

I am the author of various publications (books and articles) on a broad range of legal and regulatory topics related to commercial law in general and financial market services. I regularly speak at conferences on these topics.
