The conference will cover the fundamentals of sanctions from Swiss, international and comparative law perspectives and give insights into the sanction implementation programs in key jurisdictions (Switzerland, the United States, the European Union, and the United Kingdom). The afternoon working sessions will focus on practical cases of export controls, financial sanctions, investigations, and enforcement.
The conference aims to enhance the participant's understanding of the legal implications of the financial and trade sanctions adopted by Switzerland and other key jurisdictions and provide practical advice to address the challenges facing Swiss corporations impacted by those sanctions.
The conference will take place on 27th of October 2022 in the Fribourg University Aula Magna, Avenue de l'Europe 20, CH-1700 Fribourg.
